I am a Tenured Researcher in the Computer Security Group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI Amsterdam) (the national research institute for mathematics and computer science in the Netherlands).

Bridging the gap between hardware primitives, system architecture, and formal proofs.

My research focuses on the vertical integration of security. I utilize mathematical tools to establish rigorous boundaries for system architectures, while leveraging a deep understanding of physical-layer leakage and hardware primitives to challenge and reinforce these theoretical foundations. I am particularly interested in hardware security, cyber-physical system security, and applied cryptography. My doctoral dissertation is “Cryptographic Solutions for Cyber-Physical System Security”.

Before joining CWI Amsterdam, I worked as a research assistant professor at New York University, affiliated with the Center for Urban Science and Progress and the Center for Cybersecurity. I obtained my Ph.D. degree at the University of Connecticut, under the supervision of Prof. Marten van Dijk. Prior to that, I obtained my Master of Science degree (under the supervision of Prof. Ramesh Karri) and Bachelor of Science degree from New York University and Xidian University, respectively.
